Abstract

This research focuses on the study of one of the most influential figures who played a significant role in shaping the political history of Persia during the Mongol era, namely Prince Norouz. The study examines the political, social, and religious changes that accompanied his era, as well as their effects on Persia in particular and the Mongols in general. It also explores the attempts to establish communication with the Mamluks state, considering the convergence resulting from the religious transformations associated with Prince Norouz's personality, and the consequent social structure and religious diversity that prevailed during Mongol rule over large parts of Persia and the East.
